Domestic Diva

Yeah, that's right. I made this. With my sewing machine. I'm unstoppable. This burp cloth of perfection took me 2 1/2 hours to make and I am so proud of myself. My ward started a sewing class and I'm on fire!!

Gas Gouging

This post is in my brother's honor, who recently complained about paying $59.92 to fill up his car with gas. Never forget, Robert, it can always be worse!!!

Cub Scout Twilight Camp - Family Day

We had a fun day at RJ's last day of Twilight Camp. It was a Medieval Theme with lots of fun games. RJ was excited to show us all of the fun things he did all week. Here, RJ & Braden are "jousting". The red bouncy ball is the "horse." Sienna's favorite part of the day were all the snacks. Notice the dried up ice cream all over her face! Here is the "King's Cup" game, and of course, Braden is pouting about it "not being fair."

8 Hours of Sleep!!!

I took this picture to commemorate the first full night's sleep since Conner was born! On June 3rd, at exactly 2 months old, Conner slept an entire 8 hours! Of course, it hasn't happened again since. But still.

Heroes All

RJ and his fellow 2nd graders performed this show. RJ had three speaking parts that he had practiced perfectly, never once made a mistake. At the show, he suffered from stage fright at the very beginning, but was able to recover and give his next two lines perfect.

Sleeping Accommodations

This morning I woke up and realized that Conner has outgrown his bed! He's been sleeping in this basket provided by Aunt Theresa since we came home from the hospital. I put it on my nightstand so I could just slide him over for late-night feedings, very convenient in those early days after a C-section, when I couldn't bend or lift, or move much. Now I don't know where to put him! We're saving a crib purchase for our new house at the end of the month. So he may have to squeeze into this teeny basket for another month! We'll see how it goes. They grow too fast.....
