Windy Day in Lancaster
If you've ever been to the beautiful desert of Lancaster, you know it can be WINDY! I took the kids there over Spring Break to see two of my sisters. We decided a nice family walk along the aqueduct would be fun. We lasted about 10 minutes and it was FREEEEEZING! And when the wind blew Sienna over, causing her to skin her knee and rip her cute purple pants, we were done. Conner was the warmest! Sienna & Jonnae

I'm sorry I made you cry last night when I sucked up your Legos with the vacuum.... Please learn to clean faster than me, I don't want to make you sad again. P.S. Happy Birthday to me, I have a clean house!

It's Great to be Eight!
Braden was baptized on Saturday. It was a great day. Braden asked his Uncle Jon to baptize him. His Dad gave a talk on baptism and performed the confirmation. Grandpa Jan gave a talk on the Holy Ghost. And it wouldn't have been Braden, if he didn't make us laugh. After his baptism, while he was still in the font, he swam a few victory laps. I like the way Uncle Dave said it best, "the swim party that ensued immediately following the sacred ordinance!" Conner so cute in a suit. :o) Uncle Jon thought it would be fun to have a "missionary-style" baptism picture. Uncle Jon, Aunt Ashley, and Aunt Shelby sang "Baptism" and it was beautiful. Here's the family! Afterwards, Grandpa Jan took us to our favorite Saturday lunch spot, Denny's! There were 21 of us on this big day, and Grandpa thought it would be a great idea to have the kids sit at their own table. They were really good, but I think they ordered two meals, a soda, and an ice cream shake each!
