Kiddie Cones

I don't know if all McDonald's are this way, but the kiddie cones in Vernal are free! Even the kiddie cones turned out to be too large for Conner, I'm the lucky one who got to eat off the top! Yummy.

FHE Croquet

Mom won 1st place, she's the master. She used to play with her grandpa (who lived on the same property she lives on now). RJ has mad skills and won 2nd place, one stroke behind grandma.

I was terrible, but it's not my fault the grass is too long.
Sienna opted out of the game and chose to give Conner rides in the stroller instead.
Kensley rolled around in the grass and played her own game.
And make sure you duck & cover whenever it's Braden's turn!

I Love to See the Temple

After a short trip to Vernal to eat at McDonald's, the kids wanted to see the Vernal Temple where Ryan and I were married. Once there, the boys were content to look on from the air conditioned car and only Sienna wanted to get out and take a look and get some pictures.

Rock Climbing

Vernal has a new, really awesome recreation center. You pay one price and have access to EVERYTHING. Here, the boys enjoyed some rock climbing. We also went swimming, and of course, I was in the pool with Conner and didn't take any pictures. But it was the funnest pool ever with a HUGE twisty water slide that only Braden was brave enough to conquer and a HUGE play structure that was like the Roseville Aquatics Center on steroids. Conner was scared of it, it was a bit overwhelming. My favorite part was this whirlpool part, you just lifted up your feet and it carried you away, so fun, but Conner didn't appreciate that either. It took awhile, but we finally ended with some smiles and happiness.

Grandma's House

Sienna befriending the local stray. Conner picked up this water gun and immediately made shooting sounds. His dad will be so proud.

My mom's property is covered with grasshoppers which equals hours of fun for Braden.
Conner REALLY wants to ride a scooter, he'll have to settle for observing for awhile.
And, Sienna with the cat again. She gave the kitty her dinner and made an instant friend.

Lake Tahoe

Jake's by the Lake - yummy food, lame waiter Lunch with a View

Advertisement for chocolate and twizzlers! It was difficult, but we finally found a theater playing The Proposal, the movie was entertaining and everyone stayed awake!
I had so much fun spending a night with friends in Lake Tahoe. I loved getting to know these wonderful girls, laughed a lot, slept little, and I promise to keep every secret divulged!!

Carlsbad

The kidlets playing on the beach Conner couldn't open his eyes fully the entire week, he needs sunglasses!

Ryan playing volleyball with his new beach style
Conner loves his sand toys
Dirtiest Baby Award
RJ attempting the boogie board while Braden observes
Daddy & Conner
Conner does NOT like the water, he would start to cry if we carried him near it, and if we tried to get him to walk toward it, he would go limp and collapse in a heap in the sand.
Braden plays for hours creating things in the sand
Braden rescuing Conner from an attempted escape (Sam in the background)
Sienna and her little girl cousins - she enjoyed being the oldest, and therefore, the boss.
