Sienna lost her first tooth on Friday. She was very excited to join the ranks of receiving cash for teeth. The next morning she felt remorse when she no longer had a tooth that she could take to school on Share Day. But she will happily spend her $1. Coincidentally, Braden lost a tooth the next morning (not his 1st). He was thrilled as well, but told me that he thought maybe the tooth fairy was actually parents and wanted to pretend sleep all night to find out. However, he changed his plans because he wasn't ready to part with the tooth and so he hid it in a box and put it in his underwear drawer. Thankfully he shared this plan with me and I agreed that tooth fairies are way too busy to go searching and if it wasn't under his pillow, she would just leave, rewarding him with one more day with the precious tooth. The next night I asked him if he was going to put his tooth under his pillow for the tooth fairy, and he said, "NO! The tooth fairy DOES NOT work on Sundays!" So alas, one more night went by without the tooth fairy. However, on Monday morning, Braden woke me up at dawn to inform me that the tooth fairy DID NOT COME! I said, "I thought the tooth fairy didn't work on Sundays, and so you kept your tooth hidden." He said no, he changed his mind and put it under his pillow before he fell asleep. Darn tooth fairy just can't get it right! But all is well, Monday night she FINALLY came, and all is right in the Pinney Household. Incidentally, both Sienna & Braden have ANOTHER loose tooth, we'll see how it goes next time.

Your son sounds so adorable and so smart! lol :) My daughter is only 3, so we have a few years to go yet until lost teeth, but I used to love that when I was little. I always wanted to wait up too, but never did!
